What should I bring?

  • We provide towels, robes, spa slippers, shampoo/conditioner. You may want to bring your own comb or hair brush and any other personal care products of your choice.

  • We recommend floating in your birthday suit, so no need to bring a bathing suit.

Get your mind and body ready

  • Avoid consuming caffeine – you'll want to float in a peaceful, calm, and relaxed state of mind.

  • Eat a light meal a few hours before floating – you don’t want to be overly full, nor do you want to have hunger causing a distraction.

  • Avoid shaving or waxing the day of your appointment – freshly shaven or waxed skin can become irritated by the Epsom salt.

  • Do not float if you've had your hair/dyed or colored within 72 hours.

  • Give yourself plenty of time before and after your float – come early and relax in our Zen Lounge to quiet your mind before your float.

You are ready to float - what to expect

  • Each float is a unique experience.  Whether you are new to floating, or have been floating for years, the simple act of being cradled by magnesium rich, body temperature saline solution and unplugging from the stimuli of our modern world you will leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

  • While some like to set an intention prior to floating, we encourage you to leave any expectations at the float room door.  Just lay back, relax and let go.

After your float

  • After floating, take some time to relax in the Zen Lounge.  Enjoy a cup of tea or coffee. Use the provided sketchbooks, journals or coloring books if you're feeling creative.  Read or simply take some time for reflection and recovery.

  • When you are ready to leave, you may resume your daily activities, but we recommend you take some time to relax and enjoy the post-float feeling for at least a short time before diving back in.

  • Make sure to book your next appointment.
